About

Emily has been practicing law for over nine years and currently focuses on employment and privacy law matters. She has several years of general counsel experience. Previously, Emily was a litigator at a prominent Los Angeles-based firm, where she focused on professional liability, public entity liability, business litigation, and general liability.

In law school, Emily clerked for the Honorable Justice Richard D. Fybel of the Fourth District, Third Division of the California Court of Appeal, where she researched and analyzed an issue for Justice Fybel’s work as Chair of the California Supreme Court Advisory Committee on the Code of Judicial Ethics. Emily received her Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2012, where she competed on the Moot Court and Trial Team and won awards for her written and oral advocacy skills at several competitions, including the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Hong Kong.

In her free time, Emily can be found spending time with her husband, two toddlers, and goldendoodle.
